COVID-19 information
Are face coverings required?
Face coverings are no longer expected.
We will continue to encourage the FAU community to follow
CDC Guidelines.
May a supervisor ask their employees if they have been vaccinated?
Supervisors are cautioned about asking about employees’ vaccination status or questions about why an employee did not receive vaccination as such questions may elicit disability-related information, etc.
In addition, coworkers may not ask others about their vaccination status. We should always conduct ourselves with an abundance of caution regardless of one’s vaccination status.
However, Student Health Services is permitted to ask about vaccination status for contact tracing purposes.
