Announcements
The Student Affairs Marketing & Communications team collaborates with the Student Affairs Technology team to successfully implement digital signage in key areas within our division. We now have a single content management dashboard that controls digital displays within our Student Union, Residence Halls, and other high-traffic locations across campus. This centralization has also allowed us to collaborate with the Department of Emergency Management to better inform our students when it comes to campus and community related emergencies and alerts.
Aside from our digital displays, there are many marketing platforms available to our division and University partners for mass communication. Below is a list of available mediums and platforms to help reach your intended audience.

Student News
A mass email communication that reaches all registered students at Florida Atlantic University. This moderated listserv supports the Division of Student Affairs mission of informing students about our comprehensive and integrated campus life programs and services. This same information remains static on our Student News webpage.
- Target Audience: FAU Students
- Distribution Frequency: Weekly, every Monday (except University holidays)
- Graphics are not required.
MyFAU Announcements
The Division of Student Affairs posts static announcements and messages to MyFAU. These static posts show up in the Announcements section within the MyFAU account self-service portal, including the MyFAU app on iOS.
- Target Audience: FAU Students, Faculty, and/or Staff (Can be addressed to specific audiences)
- Distribution Frequency: Daily (during normal business hours)
- Graphics are not required.
Social Media
Add your announcement to the Student Affairs social media pages! We currently have Facebook (facebook.com/faustudents), Instagram (instagram.com/faustudents), and Twitter (twitter.com/faustudents).
- Target Audience: FAU Students, Public community
- Distribution Frequency: Adjusted per the announcement/event
- Graphics are required.

- Your graphic must be approved by FAU Creative Services (include approval in the request).

Digital Signage
Student Affairs has the opportunity to display digital signage within our Student Union, Residence Halls, and other high-traffic locations across campus. These screens are available to promote services and programs within your office, as well as date-specific events you wish to promote.
- Target Audience: FAU Students, University community
- Distribution Frequency: Adjusted per the announcement/event
- A graphic is required.
- Size: 1920 x 1080 pixels
- Your graphic must be approved by FAU Creative Services (include approval in the request).
