At University Advising Services, we have a team of highly motivated and dedicated Academic Advisors that are ready to support and assist you with your academic endeavors.
This webpage is designed to provide our Undocumented/DACA/Dreamer students with resources, both academic and nonacademic. Our office strives to cultivate a supportive environment for Undocumented/DACA/Dreamer students in higher education and at Florida Atlantic University.
Our Mission:
FAU Undocu-Ally’s primary focus is to assist our undocumented and DACA students by providing information, referrals and resources. In support of this mission, Undocu-Ally will guide students through academic advising and refer to appropriate resources including Financial Aid, tutoring, the Dean of Students office, and others.
Undocu-Ally is based on the Appreciative Advising model. It is the intentional collaborative practice of asking positive, open-ended questions that help students to address obstacles and optimize their educational experience.
